An incident in the Penza region has drawn attention after a confrontation over a parking space escalated into an explosive act. A Telegram channel known as Shot reported the episode, describing it as unfolding in Nikolsk, a private sector area of the city.
According to the report, a 41-year-old man positioned a Gazelle utility vehicle next to the home of his 61-year-old neighbor. The neighbor reacted with strong disapproval, and after a heated exchange the two parties dispersed for a time. The elderly man then returned to his barn, created a makeshift explosive using a paint can and gunpowder gathered from cartridges, and launched the device toward the neighbor’s Gazelle in some form of retaliatory action.
Hours later, the owner of the vehicle discovered that the Gazelle had sustained damage as a result of the explosion. Authorities responded to a tip, leading to the arrest of the alleged offender. He faces potential prison time of up to five years for damaging another person’s property and creating a hazardous situation.
As this case unfolds, it is noted that a prior report mentioned a separate incident in Karelia involving a school bus driver suspected of predatory behavior, who reportedly was arrested for a two-month period. The broader context of these events highlights ongoing concerns about public safety and neighborhood tensions in various regions.
