The order for the motorcycle clubs in the parade was set by a draw conducted at the Mosgortrans motorcycle school. Eighteen clubs entered the draw, but participation in the parade remains open to others who wish to join.

Clubs unable to take part in the draw will begin their participation on a first come, first served basis. Individual riders who ride independently, and are not members of any club, can also join the parade. No prior registration is necessary for these riders.

The gathering point for parade participants is Sakharova Prospekt. Meetings begin at 10:00, and the procession moves off at noon.

The parade is overseen by the traffic police, who will coordinate road closures on the Garden Ring segments used by motorcyclists. These restrictions are lifted as soon as the column has passed. The actions are taken to ensure safety for all road users and to maintain smooth traffic flow during the event. [Source: Moscow Transport Authority]

Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, commented on the event:

“The mayor has directed every effort to improve safety for all who use the roads. Moscow’s motorcycle gatherings serve as a vivid reminder that motorcycles are a significant presence in the city.”

In April, the city officially opened the 2022 motorcycle season. The today’s draw determined the order in which clubs will advance as part of the column on September 24, aligning with the season’s close. [Source: City Transportation Department]
