Moskvich Auto Plant expands its Moscow dealer network and outlines a broader city strategy

The Moskvich Automobile Plant has completed the process of selecting partners to build out a strong Moscow dealer network. The initial phase brings together a diverse mix of flagship sales and service centers that will represent the Moskvich brand across the capital region. This carefully curated group includes prominent dealership sites such as Rolf in Khimki, Avtomir on Ozernaya, Avilon at Volgogradsky Prospekt, Major on Novorizhskoye Highway, Rolf Center, Avtomir on the Yaroslavskoe Highway, Avilon Legend near the Third Ring Road, the Kuntsevo shopping district, Avtorus at Izmailovo, and Avtopassage. Each location will handle both the sale and maintenance of Moskvich vehicles, ensuring customers receive a comprehensive brand experience close to home and work.

The company underscored that the next stage of its Moscow expansion will emphasize presence in larger urban centers within Russia, especially in cities with populations exceeding one million residents. As production scales up, Moskvich plans to broaden the footprint of its network, increasing convenient access to service and sales across a wider market. This strategy aligns with the plant’s broader aim to secure a steady foothold in major metropolitan hubs, making the Moskvich brand a familiar and trusted option for urban drivers.

The initial model slated for introduction in Moscow is the Moskvich 3 crossover. It is positioned with a suggested price of 1.97 million rubles before applying any discounts under applicable state programs. This pricing reflects the car’s positioning in the mid-range segment of the market and supports the company’s goal of offering a compelling value proposition to first-time buyers and urban families alike. As the Moskvich 3 reaches showrooms, potential customers can expect a balance of modern design, practical utility, and efficient performance suitable for city driving and weekend getaways alike.

The Moskvich leadership emphasizes that the retailer network will not only serve as a point of sale but will also function as a comprehensive aftersales hub. Customers will have access to certified maintenance, genuine spare parts, and trained technicians who understand the specific needs of Moskvich vehicles. The aim is to deliver a seamless ownership experience in which service quality reinforces brand confidence and long-term loyalty across Moscow and its surrounding districts.
