The Moskvich factory has pulled back the prices on nearly its entire lineup, a move highlighted by the Car News of the Day portal.
According to reports, starting March 7, the price of the 2023 Moskvich 6 sedan across all trim levels decreased by 490,000 rubles. In addition, it shed the once-off 200,000-ruble direct discount that had been available for two CVT versions since the start of 2024.
Prices for the Moskvich 3 model fell even more sharply. In the Standard and Standard Plus trims, the car’s price dropped by 630,000 rubles, while the Comfort variant saw a reduction of 712,000 rubles.
The manufacturer attributed the price reduction to a new pricing strategy, saying it would offer clear, simple, and transparent prices to customers without extra conditions such as credits or exchanges.
Officials from Moskvich noted that the new pricing will take effect only until March 31, and that stock is limited.
In unrelated news, there was a prior dispute in the Sverdlovsk region related to a car, which drew attention due to involvement with dog-fighting activities. The matter has been part of local discussions around vehicle ownership and regulatory oversight.
