The Moskvich 6 has arrived at showrooms, with deliveries set to begin shortly. This update comes from Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing Alexander Savelyev, the head of Avilon Moskvich brand, who confirms the milestone.
According to Savelyev, the first Moskvich 6 car was received last Friday. Dealers are now gearing up for the sales launch, and pre-orders have already started to take shape. Interest from potential buyers is noticeable as preparations move forward for the model’s market introduction.
The Moskvich 6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivering 136 horsepower and a peak torque of 200 Nm, paired with a continuously variable transmission. The trunk offers a capacity of 540 liters, providing ample space for everyday use or family trips.
The entry price for the Moskvich 6 is listed at no less than 2.63 million rubles before any discounts tied to the trade-in of an older vehicle. Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, parking sensors, air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, and LED headlights. Each headlight unit comprises 142 LEDs across five lenses, contributing to improved illumination and visibility.
Earlier reports indicated that Moskvich had begun independent welding of car bodies, signaling progress in the brand’s production processes and a shift toward more self-sufficient manufacturing practices.
