Preliminary information indicates that at around 10:30 am, twelve vehicles collided at kilometer 31 of the M-10 in the direction toward the region, disrupting the flow of traffic and prompting an immediate emergency response.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the crash. Nevertheless, traffic at the scene was restricted as police teams arrived to secure the area and begin a formal investigation into the causes of the collision. In a separate development, two teenagers were detained in Irkutsk in relation to a separate road conflict. Earlier reports also noted difficulties for travelers in Sochi when a bus halted due to flooding.
