In Goluboe village, Solnechnogorsky district in the Moscow region, not far from Zelenograd, a Mitsubishi Lancer collided with five parked cars in the courtyard of a residential building, according to information from TASS.
The accident happened in the inner space of building 1 on Parkovyi Boulevard. The Mitsubishi, carrying a passenger, damaged at least five vehicles before fleeing the scene. Police units arrived shortly after and detained the driver for safety checks. Preliminary information obtained by TASS indicates that the driver may have been intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Video footage circulated by the Telegram channel Accident and Emergency Moscow and Moscow Region shows the aftermath: the hood of a parked Skoda Rapid was bent, while a Renault Kaptur nearby lost its front bumper. A Kia parked nearby was also struck during the scramble of the incident.
Later reports indicated that the offender had been in Saint Petersburg before the crash. A criminal case has been opened in connection with a separate incident in which a 65-year-old man died after a female driver collided with parked cars and people standing nearby.
