A Mercedes-Benz ambulance overturned in Novosibirsk following a traffic collision, according to a Telegram channel covering the incident.
The crash happened at the intersection of Krasny Prospect and Tyulenin Street. Based on a circulating video, the ambulance was crossing the intersection when a Nissan X-Trail collided with its side at high speed. The impact propelled the ambulance several meters and it toppled onto a nearby electricity pole. A Lada Granta was also involved in the crash, and all three vehicles sustained significant damage to their bodies.
Witnesses indicated numerous injuries were reported. Paramedics, firefighters, and police arrived at the scene to assist and manage the situation.
In a separate incident, an ambulance in Sochi in August responded after a 65-year-old woman stepped into the roadway, causing her vehicle to overturn and fall into a ditch. A second ambulance crew assisted emergency responders and transported the patient to a hospital on foot. Police opened an investigation into the event as responders continued their work.
