Authorities report that six cars suffered damage from bullets. It is believed the shooter used a traumatic weapon. Video from a car’s dashcam captures a moment where the armed individual is dragged away from a red pedestrian crossing, with a cargo van on the median of a two-lane road. During the confrontation, the attacker appears to aim at the vehicle that carries the camera. The driver of that car managed to overtake the aggressor in the oncoming lane, avoiding a direct collision.
The gunman was apprehended after a police tip-off about the incident. The motives behind the action have not been disclosed by officials at this time.
