Prices Rise Across Ulyanovsk Auto Plant SUVs and Pickups

Prices for Hunter, Patriot, and Pickup from the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant have climbed by 30 thousand rubles across all trim levels, according to the manufacturer’s official notices. This shift reflects broader market movements and the company’s adjustments to ongoing regulatory and supply dynamics that affect production costs and model configurations.

For the Patriot, equipped with a ZMZ Pro engine meeting Euro-2 environmental standards, the entry version starts at 1.55 million rubles. The value climbs to about 1.78 million rubles when a broader suite of comfort and convenience features is selected. Models featuring Euro-5 engines carry an additional price premium, with the increase totaling 20,000 rubles above the corresponding Euro-2 configurations. This aligns with industry practice of pricing higher-efficiency powertrains to reflect manufacturing costs and market demand for cleaner emissions.

In the pickup category, the initial configuration remains available at 1.56 million rubles for models with a Euro-2 engine, while the Euro-5 variant commands approximately 1.58 million rubles. The incremental cost differences between engine generations are designed to reflect performance, fuel economy, and regulatory compliance expectations in various regions.

The Hunter line is positioned with a price range from 1.37 to 1.40 million rubles, depending on the chosen engine and equipment level. This spread mirrors the ongoing strategy of offering varied combinations of drivetrain power, interior features, and technology packages to suit different buyer preferences and budget considerations.

All current models in this lineup are equipped with manual transmissions by default. The option of an automatic transmission has been discontinued for the Patriot and Pickup in response to sanctions-related constraints that affected supply chains and regulatory compliance in 2022. This shift emphasizes the brand’s emphasis on dependable, globally available configurations while navigating geopolitical and trade environments.
