Two-Trim Lada Niva Legend Gets Price Cut and Localisation Update

The Lada Niva Legend is now offered in two trim levels, each reduced by 8,000 rubles. The Classic’22 configuration is priced at 800,900 rubles, a drop from the former 808,900 rubles. The Luxe’22 variant costs 851,900 rubles, down from 859,900 rubles. This pricing shift keeps the overall option packages intact, with no changes to the component list or configuration lineup.

Manufacturers point to increased localization as a likely reason for the lower prices. Recently, AVTOVAZ reported that its Russian suppliers managed to replace more than 200 positions of components and materials that had previously been blocked for delivery. This supply chain update supports the move toward more affordable models while preserving the established feature set for each trim.

In addition to pricing changes, a new body color has been officially added to the Niva Legend palette: a gray-beige shade named basalt gray. Officially the lineup offers eight color options. However, early January production is expected to focus on black and white vehicles due to material shortages, with other colors slated to appear as supplies stabilize.

As a thank you for taking part, three gift prizes will be raffled among survey respondents. All eligible entries submitted by the stated deadline will have a chance to win, with the draw open to participants who complete the questionnaire before the end of February.
