Filming Timeline for the Serial Film Lada Gold
The production of the serial film Lada Gold commenced in Moscow at the end of July and moved to Astrakhan, continuing its shoot into mid‑August. The crew then reached the Zhiguli region, stopping at the AvtoVAZ plant checkpoint in Tolyatti, where the arrival of actor Pavel Priluchny was captured on video on the set. In addition to Priluchny, the project features Roman Evdokimov, Eldar Kalimulin, Anna Bogomolova, Stasya Miloslavskaya and other performers as part of the cast.
As is often the case, local actors were invited to fill smaller roles. In Tolyatti, the crew needed a few dozen men whose appearance could fit the concept of brothers, as well as performers who resemble characters of Asian origin. This aligns with the series being a crime drama that centers on a tense, entangled history.
From a plot perspective, the story follows the grandchildren of two once-blooded rivals, Arthur and Pavel. They embark on a high‑stakes journey aboard a VAZ-21043 chariot crafted entirely from bandit gold. The chase for the gleaming four‑seater unfolds as the pursuit intensifies and the stakes rise.
The production is led by the studio Sreda, with Yegor Chikchanov directing and serving as screenwriter. Chikchanov, a Samara native located nearby Tolyatti, previously created the successful series Hello Again! for IVI in 2022. Alexander Tsekalo acts as a co-producer for Lada Gold. The release window is planned for 2023, positioning the project as a notable addition to the crime genre from the creators behind notable contemporary Russian television.
