According to the Telegram channel ChP Krasnoyarsk, police in Krasnoyarsk have detained a person suspected of hooliganism who had previously used an air gun during a tense traffic dispute.

In the community account, the incident began when two drivers struggled to pass one another in the courtyard of a residential building on Babushkina Street in the Oktyabrsky district. After a heated exchange, they finally managed to clear the way. Yet the driver of a Mercedes-Benz ML remained agitated and opened fire, firing several shots toward a Toyota car.

Law enforcement described how officers from the Russian National Guard of the Krasnoyarsk Territory arrived at the scene, with an investigative and operational police team also dispatched. The suspect’s vehicle was circulated through all external police channels, and the car driven by a person born in 2002 who resides in the regional center was eventually stopped by traffic police on Molokova Street.

As a result, investigators from the Investigative Department No. 2 of the Krasnoyarsk Municipality of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to open a criminal case. The man driving the Mercedes-Benz ML faces charges under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for hooliganism. The air gun used by the driver was seized, and the suspect was released on his own recognizance after the formalities were completed.

Earlier reporting notes that the incident follows the hospitalization of a girl who sustained chemical burns on her hip while aboard a city bus, an episode that added gravity to the day’s events and drew attention to safety concerns in public transportation.
