A Kazan businesswoman uncovered that a truck carrying flowers valued at 1.6 million rubles had vanished and decided to search for it in Moscow. The incident was first reported by the Telegram channel Shot.
Entrepreneur Nazilya Daminova placed an order for 106 boxes of flowers from a Moscow supplier named Sunrise and also posted an advertisement seeking a carrier. A representative named Sergei from Sprut LLC responded, confirming a driver could be arranged. On March 6, the driver loaded the cargo at a Moscow warehouse and departed, but he never reached Daminova’s shop, and contact from Sergei ceased.
Determined to recover the cargo, Daminova traveled to Moscow and reached Sunrise’s warehouse on March 8. There she learned more about the driver’s behavior and was later informed by Sprut about the missing truck’s distinctive sticker. After a tip from truckers, Daminova located the correct vehicle in a repair shop, with the flowers still inside.
Investigations revealed that the driver did not plan to steal the goods. He explained that he was reluctant to travel to Kazan and had spent three days hiding out in the workshop with his colleagues. Sprut’s leadership apologized for the disruption and arranged for another driver to take over the delivery. Daminova chose not to pursue police action at that time.
In a separate, earlier report, it was noted that a resident of Arzamas had attempted to frighten his wife and a lover with a grenade, but mistakenly discharged it into a random driver’s car.
