According to the investigation, on the night of September 12, 2023, near the No. 2 police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dzerzhinsk, a man operated a crane mounted on a KamAZ vehicle. Authorities said the crane was used in repetitions intended to strike the entrance cluster and the police department window, aiming to breach the building’s facade.
Law enforcement reported that police officers were inside the building during the incident. After the attacker fled, a thorough search was launched to locate him. The suspect is now in custody.
