A body of a woman with lacerations was discovered by passers-by in a parking lot in Astrakhan, according to a report from RIA Novosti citing the SUSK of Russia in the Astrakhan region.
The incident occurred on the morning of March 26, 2023, when authorities say the local resident was found in the parking area adjacent to a residence on Rozhdestvensky Drive, in the Sovetsky District of Astrakhan. The discovery was described as the death of a local resident with no immediate signs of foul play observed at the scene.
During the initial examination, injuries were noted that specialists believe might have been caused by stray dogs. The ministry noted that investigators have ordered an official forensic assessment to determine whether the wounds posed a threat to the person’s life and to establish the cause of death if possible.
