A man who sought permission to buy a vehicle in Ufa while carrying marijuana in his pocket was detained after the incident came to light. This information was shared on the Telegram channel of Vladimir Sevastyanov, the Chief State Inspector for Road Safety in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

According to the channel, the man walked into the administrative building of the Traffic Police Regiment to request the issuance of a vehicle. The day prior, a 42-year-old resident of Ufa had been detained while operating a Honda Civic under the influence, and an administrative protocol was issued against him for refusing a medical examination due to intoxication.

In a subsequent development, the driver returned to obtain permission to retrieve the vehicle from the impound lot but reportedly left a bag of marijuana at the entrance to the building. A vigilant employee noticed the unattended package and detained the individual as he attempted to flee. The man apologized, describing himself as having acted in a moment of obvious poor judgment, and was subsequently taken to the local police station for further processing.

Meanwhile, an extreme blogger known as Shakhbanov, who once enjoyed popularity in Dagestan, continues to perform dangerous stunts on public roadways and now faces potential prison time.

Video footage showing Shakhbanov alighting onto a car halted at a traffic light has drawn substantial attention, amassing nearly 25 million views. The clip depicts a man in a white shirt clinging to the roof of a vehicle and executing a stunt on the hood before re-entering the car and driving off, thereby violating traffic regulations.

As a consequence, eight administrative cases have been opened against Shakhbanov, and he could face criminal proceedings under Article 267.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which addresses actions that threaten the safe operation of motor vehicles.

Additionally, there are reports that drunk drivers in the western regions have had their cars seized and transported to neighboring destinations beyond national borders. This underscores ongoing concerns about impaired driving and the enforcement measures that accompany failed attempts at vehicle displacement.
