In St. Petersburg: Visitor from Central Asia Damages Two Mercedes-Benz Vehicles

In St. Petersburg, a visitor from one of the Central Asian republics damaged two Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This was shared on the Telegram channel of the Russian Guard of St. Petersburg. The man allegedly showed signs consistent with drug impairment.

The incident unfolded in the parking lot of a hotel on Podezdny Lane. Security camera video shows a person wandering through the lot, colliding with the hood of one Mercedes and attempting to wrench the side mirrors from another Mercedes-Benz sedan.

According to the National Guard, the actions of the individual resulted in about 200,000 rubles in damage. One car, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, had its mirror ripped off, and the other Mercedes-Benz sustained body damage. A criminal case was opened for damage to property.

Separately, there were earlier reports from Crimea involving a driver and his father, described as dragging a traffic police inspector into a residence during an incident there.
