The Shadrinsk resident who was held in a temporary detention facility managed to slip out by reaching the window and moving the door latch from the outside, guided by a food service setup that fed detainees. This account comes from a Telegram channel known as Ural Mash, which has been tracking local law enforcement stories with steady speculation and detail.
According to the timeline shared, the man, identified as Nikolai, had previously lost his driving license the year before after a drunken driving incident. He later chose to drive again while intoxicated, which led to another stop by the traffic police. As a result, he was placed in the temporary detention facility for holding and processing. During that period, authorities allege that he managed to make an escape. The individual allegedly moved the shutters near the feeding area, managed to insert a hand through the opening, and opened the door from the inside, gaining a momentary control over the access point that normally serves the detainees during meals.
Witnesses reported seeing the man leave the building and blend into a nearby crowd as the routine commotion continued around the detention facility. Two days later, officers discovered Nikolai was missing again and subsequently took him back into custody. An official review has been announced to examine how the escape occurred, as well as the timing and handling of information that would normally trigger a quick response from staff and law enforcement observers.
In a separate note from the same period, a taxi driver from Chelyabinsk was involved in a dispute with passengers who, in the driver’s view, did not fit inside the vehicle. The altercation underscores ongoing challenges that arise when personal behavior and vehicle capacity collide in crowded urban settings, highlighting how stress and tense moments can escalate in public transport environments.
