The Avtosvet plant, part of the OAT Group, has successfully passed an audit confirming compliance with the IATF international standard. In addition, the facility began manufacturing new component lines, including the front and rear optics for the Lada Vesta NG model, according to official statements. Avtosvet’s achievement underscores its role as a trusted supplier within the automotive lighting sector and reinforces its ongoing collaboration with AVTOVAZ, the longstanding partner responsible for headlamps, fog lights, and taillights for Vesta vehicles.
Prior to the Izhevsk production halt, only a little over a thousand Vesta NG units were assembled, with the lighting equipment supplier for those machines not publicly named. Following the restart of production in Togliatti, Avtosvet was designated as the lighting supplier for the Vesta NG program. This shift marks a notable upgrade in the supply chain, aligning Avtosvet’s capabilities with AVTOVAZ’s modernization efforts for the Vesta family.
This facility has a long history of collaboration with AVTOVAZ, contributing a broad range of lighting products that support the company’s model lineup. The restart of Vesta production in Togliatti was targeted for the first half of 2023, aiming to expand output and strengthen the domestic supply network for essential automotive components.
