Auto Mail.ru reports that Heli forklifts are set to be produced in Russia, citing the Spark database. Previously, Heli’s presence in the Russian market was mainly through private local dealers who handled sales and service arrangements.
In Russia, Heli Eurasia LLC was registered on May 11, 2023 as a legal entity with a registered capital of 300 million rubles. The direct owners of this company are Heli’s China office and the export trading firm Anhui Heli Industrial Vehicle Import & Export Co., Ltd., consolidating direct ownership and cross-border control within the Heli network.
Heli Eurasia’s core activity centers on wholesale and manufacturing of lifting and transport machinery, along with hydraulic and pneumatic power equipment. The portfolio also covers cranes and specialized equipment used in road construction and asphalt paving, aligning with broader infrastructure projects and industrial supply needs in the region.
The Heli group traces its roots to 1958 and has grown into a leading global manufacturer. In 2016, it ranked seventh among the world’s largest forklift producers and reported revenue of approximately $1.4 billion in 2018, reflecting sustained scale and market reach across continents.
A separate note indicates that a Chinese crossover model, the XPeng G3i, had already been introduced to the Russian market, expanding the footprint of Chinese automotive and mobility brands in the country.
