A recall campaign has been announced for 55 thousand Haval crossovers in Russia, including the F7, F7x, Jolion, and Dargo models produced in 2022 and 2023. The information comes from Rosstandart, the national consumer safety body. The initiative targets vehicles that were assembled without a critical in-vehicle emergency call system linked to ERA-GLONASS, a nationwide emergency response network supported by government directives. During the recall, authorized service centers will retrofit the missing equipment to bring every affected unit into compliance with the safety standard.
Manufacturers and dealer networks will implement the retrofit across the entire recalled fleet. A detailed plan has been outlined by Rosstandart, stating that official representatives of the Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus LLC will contact owners of the affected vehicles. Notifications will be sent via mail and/or phone, advising the owners to bring their vehicles to the nearest authorized dealer for the required installation work. The process is designed to minimize downtime for owners while ensuring that vehicles are equipped with functioning UVEOS devices connected to ERA-GLONASS once the retrofit is completed.
For transparency, the ministry’s website lists the VIN numbers of the vehicles that require the retrofit.
