Dealers are stocking up on cars to meet market demand, with uninterrupted availability of models among the strengths noted by Haval’s leadership. In a recent interview, Andrey Akifiev, the company’s director, highlighted that demand has outstripped supply, leading to rapid attrition of available configurations.

The Jolion model illustrates this trend, as orders have surged well beyond typical levels. To close the gap between demand and supply, the company is prioritizing measures to ensure inventory coverage across its markets.

Haval has also received Vehicle Approval (OTTS) approval for the Jolion and Dargo in China. To mitigate the impact of constrained local production, the firm is balancing imports with domestic manufacturing plans to satisfy rising consumer interest.

Akifiev noted that it can be quicker to import complete vehicles than to resolve all planning hurdles for component assembly and delivery. Planning cycles remain lengthy and forecasting needs can be uncertain, which complicates the timing of production and shipments.

He also emphasized that component shortages continue to affect the supply chain. As a result, the company faces a continuous choice between assembling and delivering complete machines and pursuing imports to maintain steady availability.
