The Scientific Center for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has developed guidelines to help traffic police officers handle conflict situations they may encounter on the road. The guidance is organized into several sections, including a block focused on preventing and resolving conflicts caused by provocative behavior from road users.
When facing aggressive individuals, traffic officers are advised to establish a calm, businesslike atmosphere and offer the opportunity for the other party to express themselves.
In conversations with drivers, inspectors should remain courteous, fair, and orderly. The document stresses that a police officer should present a well-groomed appearance, demonstrate a high level of linguistic and conversational competence, project confidence, and maintain a friendly facial expression. When engaging with aggressive motorists, the inspector is urged to keep emotions in check and avoid yielding to provocations.
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
Without reliable tires, public order cannot be maintained, and timely medical care cannot reach those in need.
With support from the Popular Front, fundraising efforts have begun to purchase tires for vehicles used by the People’s Police and other operational services within the LPR and DPR, including ambulances, emergency response units, humanitarian aid transport, and military equipment. Contributions can be made on the collection page.
