In China, the Geely Boyue L (FX11; known abroad as Atlas) made its debut as an original and technologically advanced SUV.
According to the Chinese Automobiles publication, the crossover rides on Volvo5 CMA architecture, a platform engineered for modern, modular design and efficiency.
The external dimensions have grown: the body now measures 4670 x 1900 x 1705 mm with a wheelbase of 2777 mm. For reference, the current model stands at 4519 x 1831 x 1694 mm with a 2670 mm wheelbase.
Two turbocharged engines are offered: a 2.0-liter unit delivering 218 horsepower and a 1.5-liter engine generating 181 horsepower. Transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch unit in a robotic setup. Hybrid variants are planned for the future, broadening options for efficiency and performance.
The Boyue L presents a distinctive design language featuring a bold, tooth-like radiator grille and an illuminated Geely emblem on the hood. When paired with the headlights and daytime running lights, a continuous light signature forms a solid line that cleanly frames two prominent fangs descending across the front.
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned to emphasize a high-tech, intuitive user experience. A 13.2-inch vertical multimedia touchscreen sits in the center, seamlessly integrating into the central tunnel for a clean, uninterrupted feel. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster complements the cockpit, with mood lighting that traces vertical lines across the front panel and continues onto the door trims, visually expanding the space and adding a modern sense of depth.
Pre-orders for the Geely Boyue L in China will be accepted via the Geely app, with service launching on August 10. Pricing is expected to range from 140,000 to 180,000 yuan, roughly corresponding to 1.26 to 1.62 million rubles. The initial batch of vehicles is slated to reach customers in October of the current year.
