The forklift operator sustained multiple injuries following a workplace accident, according to the regional State labor inspectorate in Nizhny Novgorod. The incident took place on the afternoon of March 27 at a facility operated by JSC Promis, a company known for manufacturing cardboard packaging. While carrying out routine duties, the employee was operating an electric forklift when the vehicle collided with the curb and a pole near the worksite perimeter. The impact caused the operator to be ejected from the forklift cabin, and the machine then rolled over him, resulting in serious injury.
Emergency services were called, and the injured worker was transported to a medical facility for evaluation and treatment. Health reports later classified the injuries as severe, noting they included traumatic shock among the recorded conditions.
