Travel times between the Urals and the capital region have decreased thanks to the newly launched express train No. 55/56 operated by the Ural branch of the Federal Passenger Company JSC. Officials report that the journey features shorter technical stops, higher overall speed, and a completely modernized fleet capable of sustaining up to 160 km/h.

All service classes are available on the train. The cars are equipped with air conditioning, air and water purification systems, as well as power outlets, USB sockets, and individual lighting for each passenger.

The interior is designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring convenience for travelers with reduced mobility. Every carriage, including reserved-seat cars, offers shower facilities. In the compartment coaches, lockers are provided for passengers, adding an extra touch of practicality to long-distance travel.

There is an entirely new service introduction: the option to transport pets without their owners accompanying them. The train’s route time is officially listed as 23 hours and 59 minutes. On its inaugural night from Yekaterinburg to Moscow, the train departed during the early hours between December 1 and 2, and it is slated to operate daily from December 12 onward.

Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes

Without adequate tires, public order cannot be maintained, and medical care cannot reach those who need it most.

In partnership with a civic initiative, the project began collecting funds to purchase tires for vehicles used by the People’s Police and the operational services of the LPR and DPR. The goal is to support ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, humanitarian aid transports to Donbass residents, and military vehicles. People can contribute through the collection page.
