Exeed has announced the launch of a flagship version of the RX crossover in Russia. Market release details came from the brand’s communications team, with the Flagship model priced at 5.3 million rubles in the Russian Federation. The move marks a notable update to the RX lineup, signaling Exeed’s continued push into key regional markets.
The Flagship version of the Exeed RX introduces a blend of performance and comfort upgrades. Under the hood sits a 2.0 TGDI turbocharged engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering 249 horsepower. On the exterior, buyers will find new color options for the first time on this model, including Galactic Grey and Astrum White. The alloy wheels also received a refreshed design, contributing to a more contemporary silhouette for the crossover-coupe variant.
Inside the cabin, Exeed has expanded the brand’s service and connectivity package. The vehicle now offers several online services built directly into the infotainment system, enhancing convenience for daily use. A mobile app provides remote control capabilities for the RX, allowing owners to manage certain functions from their smartphones. The Flagship also features a driver seat massage function and an electronically adjustable steering column with easy height and reach customization, aimed at improving long-distance comfort and driving ergonomics.
Alongside the RX updates, Exeed has discussed future product plans, including a large electric station wagon project. The company has outlined the Exlantix ES, a model expected to be built on a platform shared with other Exeed crossovers. This strategy emphasizes modular engineering and shared components to accelerate development and maintain a competitive price point across its electric and internal combustion engine lines.
Current configurations for the Exlantix ES are described as having a baseline battery capacity of 77 kWh, which would enable a substantial cruising range. Early estimates place the vehicle at around 680 kilometers on a full charge under typical usage. A mid-range configuration is expected to include a 100 kWh battery, aiming for approximately 880 kilometers of range. The top-tier trim is anticipated to feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and a 100 kWh lithium battery, with a target range around 710 kilometers per charge, reflecting a balance between performance and efficiency that caters to long-distance travel in real-world conditions.
In related news, there have been visual refreshes in other luxury segments, including a Mercedes-Maybach-styled roadster that features rose gold accents, illustrating a broader trend toward distinctive and premium design elements in high-end vehicles. These developments underscore a shift in the market toward offering more personalized and technologically advanced options that appeal to discerning buyers in Russia, Canada, and the United States alike.
