Motorinvest Launches Evolute i-Space Hybrid Crossover at Lipetsk Facility

Motorinvest announced that the company has begun organizing the production of a seven-seat hybrid crossover, the Evolute i-Space, at a manufacturing site in Lipetsk. The information came to light through a statement provided to socialbites.ca by Motorinvest representatives.

The Evolute i-Space features a hybrid powertrain rated at 178 horsepower. Its traction battery is charged by a generator linked to a 1.5 liter gasoline engine. When running on electric power alone, the vehicle can cover up to 87 kilometers, while a full tank of fuel combined with a charged battery yields an overall range of about 1,150 kilometers.

The crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. Inside, the cabin is configured with three rows of seating. The rear row can be adjusted in two directions, and folding the third row enables a flat luggage floor for added cargo flexibility.

The i-Space marks the first hybrid in Evolute’s lineup. Until now, the Lipetsk region has been home to the production of all-Electric Evolute models, including the i-Pro sedans, i-Joy and i-Sky crossovers, and the i-Van minivan. The exact timetable for the start of production and customer sales for the new hybrid model has not been disclosed publicly.

Previously, reports indicated that AvtoVAZ halted production of the Lada Granta Cross, a development that has implications for the regional automotive manufacturing landscape and the broader rollout of hybrid vehicles in the area.
