The Russian company Evolute has unveiled the detailed specifications and equipment list for the new i-Sky electric crossover, confirming its planned release for 2023. The model will be offered as a single, fully equipped package for the market.

Under the hood the i-Sky delivers a robust powertrain rated at 204 horsepower, producing 340 newton-meters of peak torque. It accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour. Its energy reserve comes from a large traction battery with a capacity of 85.9 kilowatt-hours, enabling a practical range of up to 511 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle’s dimensions include a length of 4565 millimeters, a wheelbase of 2715 millimeters, and a ground clearance of 175 millimeters.

The equipment list for the crossover emphasizes comfort and convenience, featuring heated seats and windshield washer nozzles, a digital instrument cluster, and an infotainment system with a 10.25-inch display. It also includes multi-directional cameras, power-adjustable front seats, a memory-enabled driver’s seat, and seating comfort options such as ventilation and massage settings.

Safety and driver assistance are central to the i-Sky, which comes with six airbags and a driver fatigue detection system. A blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, and a suite of assistance features assist with reverse maneuvers in cross-traffic and pedestrian approaches.

Sales of the Evolute i-Sky are planned to begin in the third quarter of 2023. Earlier reports indicated the car would debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show in fall 2022, with a localized version of the Chinese Dongfeng Forthing Thunder serving as the Evolute i-Sky for the Russian market.

Evolute manufactures Chinese Dongfeng electric vehicles under its own brand at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region. In the Russian market, buyers now have access to i-Pro sedans and i-Joy crossovers in addition to the i-Sky. This positioning reflects Evolute’s strategy to offer a compact, fully equipped electric crossover with a compelling range for urban and regional travel while aligning with local automotive demand and safety expectations.
