In late 2022, Russia saw a notable uptake of electric vehicles from Evolute, with 452 units sold in the fourth quarter and 252 of those becoming registered Evolutes. The majority of these purchases benefited from a government grant program administered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which provided a subsidy of 925,000 rubles for each vehicle.
Production at the Motorinvest facility in the Lipetsk region began toward the end of September 2022, and by the close of the same quarter, output had surpassed 1,700 electric cars.
At present, the company manufactures two models: the Evolute i-PRO sedan and the i-JOY crossover. Deliveries of the Evolute i-PRO sedan commenced in October 2022, roughly one month after production officially began, while the Evolute i-JOY crossover entered the market in November 2022.
What’s new in 2023
Three significant introductions are planned. In the second quarter of 2023, Evolute is set to start producing the Evolute i-JET electric crossover and the Evolute i-VAN electric minivan. A third new crossover, described as a strategic product, is slated for release, with details to be announced soon. These upgrades reflect Evolute’s ongoing expansion of its lineup and manufacturing capacity.
Currently, Evolute electric cars are available in major cities including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Sochi, and Rostov-on-Don. The dealer network continues to grow, strengthening national coverage and after-sales support for customers across Russia.
