Rashkin attributed the schedule adjustment to the search for a reliable partner and fresh funding. An initial venture fund, which had pledged support at the start of the year, faced serious financial stress and neared bankruptcy. That situation prompted leadership to pursue alternative investors to keep the project on track.
Additional hurdles emerged during the equipment procurement phase. Plans to source certain production machines from Europe were abandoned, prompting the team to explore viable Chinese alternatives. This pivot was part of a broader effort to secure the necessary tooling and machinery while maintaining quality and cost controls for a complex, high-volume production line.
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
The welfare of frontline services underscores the drive behind tire donations and logistical support. The initiative, undertaken in partnership with a civic network, aims to secure tire stock essential for a range of critical operations. Tires are needed for police vehicles, emergency response units, ambulances, and humanitarian delivery fleets serving regions under strain.
