During the examination, investigators learned that the detainee was registered as a person without a fixed residence and was previously listed on a federal wanted list for theft. He claimed that the image or object had been provided to him by a friend who works at a metal recycling point, according to the police report.
The inspection confirmed that the weapon, a short-cut TOZ-25 shotgun, appeared capable of firing and posed a real danger. As a result, the man was taken into custody. Authorities indicated that his associate would also face accountability for selling firearms.
