BYD, the Chinese automaker, has begun retailing its Denza D9 premium minivan in the domestic market. Reports from Automobile News of the Day confirm the launch, with prices starting at 329,800 yuan (2.9 million rubles) for the new model.
The Denza D9 measures 5250 mm in length, 1960 mm in width, and 1920 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 3110 mm. The minivan showcases thoughtful convenience features such as a remote rear door opening system, highly adjustable second-row seating with massage functions, and a panoramic sunroof. A compact refrigerator is also integrated into the cabin, underscoring Denza’s focus on comfort and practicality for long journeys.
Inside, the Denza D9 accommodates seven passengers along with luggage, offering flexible space for seven suitcases or carry-ons. Customers have the option to choose between an electric version or a hybrid variant. The electric Denza D9 is capable of traveling up to 620 kilometers on a single charge. The hybrid model combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total range of approximately 945 to 1040 kilometers depending on conditions and configuration.
