The German tuner Delta4x4 has focused its latest project on the electric crossover Tesla Model Y with all wheel drive, pushing the envelope of on road comfort and off road capability. In the refinement stage, the team implemented a 25 mm suspension lift and widened the stance with 60 mm wheel arch extensions. Protective mudguards were added to accommodate the larger wheels and tires, featuring Continental Cross Contact ATR in a 265/45 R20 size for enhanced grip and durability on mixed terrain.

With these changes the vehicle gains a notable ground clearance of 220 mm. This figure stands out in the segment, as many high performance electric crossovers keep a lower ride height. For comparison, even rugged models like the Niva Legend show a lower ground clearance, highlighting the Model Y’s upgraded stance under Delta4x4’s tuning approach.

A roof rack was mounted to provide additional storage for equipment such as shovels, jerry cans, utility boxes, and spare wheels. A practical LED strip was added at the front of the trunk area, complemented by four LED spotlights integrated into the front bumper for improved visibility in challenging lighting conditions.

In Germany, the cost of the sprung lift for the Tesla Model Y is listed at 900 euros. A matching set of wheels requires an additional 4,500 euros. The roof rack is priced at 2,900 euros, the light bar at 900 euros, and the bumper spotlights at 1,800 euros, making the overall customization quite a substantial investment for enthusiasts seeking enhanced off road performance.
