European customers can place orders for the new Dacia Bigster, with the brand’s press office confirming the early rollout. The model sits on the CMF-B platform that previously underpinned a new generation of the Lada Niva, linking the two brands through shared architecture. While deliveries begin in Europe, timing for the United States and Canada remains under discussion as the maker gauges demand in those markets.

Under the hood, the Bigster follows the CMF-B architecture used by the Duster and offers a variety of powertrains. A hybrid setup delivers a combined 155 horsepower, blending electric assistance with an efficient internal combustion component. For buyers who prefer a traditional petrol experience, a 1.2-liter turbo engine with an integrated start-generator produces 140 horsepower. A third option uses a turbocharged engine rated at 130 horsepower, providing another balance of performance and efficiency.

Wheel choices and styling details form part of the Bigster’s appeal. The lineup includes 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 19-inch graphic wheels available on the top Journey trim. On higher equipment levels, customers can opt for a black roof to add contrast and a more assertive look.

European pricing places the base Bigster at about 24,000 euros in Germany, a figure that translates to roughly 2.5 million rubles at prevailing exchange rates. This entry price positions the model squarely in a competitive segment where buyers weigh interior space, technology, and running costs. For shoppers in Canada and the United States, official price and availability details will be announced later, with regional variations likely to address local standards and incentives.

Earlier, reports noted that China began accepting orders for the new five-door Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, signaling strong demand for compact urban mobility. The updated Mini EV grows beyond its predecessor in size, offering more interior room while preserving a compact footprint ideal for city driving.

Key specifications for the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV show a length of 3256 mm, width 1510 mm, height 1578 mm, and a wheelbase of 2190 mm. The minimum turning radius is a tight 4.5 meters, aiding maneuverability in crowded streets. A 16.2 kWh battery provides an estimated range of about 205 kilometers and a top speed near 100 km/h, making it well suited for daily commuting and simple urban errands.

Industry chatter also points to BYD planning a taxi-oriented sedan aimed at fleets and mobility services. The proposed model would join BYD’s line of offerings designed for commercial transport, reflecting ongoing interest in dedicated vehicles for business use.
