The real estate platform Cyan, known for renting and selling properties, has emerged as a leading source of high‑quality advertisements in the secondary market in Russia. This ranking comes from a survey conducted by MASMI Russia, which operates as part of the global MASMI Research Group.

The study used telephone interviews across 25 Russian regions in March and April 2022. Its goal was to evaluate the top real estate listings from Cyan, Avito, DomClick, and Yandex Real Estate for the quality and reliability of their ad content. Researchers verified whether the information in each ad was accurate and whether it reached the user who placed the property for sale or rent.

As a result, Cyan achieved the highest advertising credibility index in the category of secondary real estate sales in Moscow, reaching 91.58 percent. This indicates that first‑time users can access nearly any listing on the site and trust that the details presented in the ad are correct.

In March 2022, the Moscow market showed that only about three out of five real estate ads were relevant across all postings. Yandex Real Estate ranked second with a reliability score of 75.14 percent, followed by DomClick with 61.7 percent and Avito with 57.4 percent.

Beyond Moscow, Cyan also led in the quality of its advertising base across other major Russian regions. For example, in April, the reliability index for selling secondary real estate on Cyan’s platform reached 88.57 percent in St. Petersburg, 88.33 percent in Yekaterinburg, 86.79 percent in Novosibirsk, and 81.33 percent in Omsk.

The survey notes that Cyan’s resources attract a substantial audience, with about 19.5 million unique visitors per month in 2021 who are looking to buy, sell, or rent residential or commercial real estate. In addition, professionals and property owners publish roughly 2 million relevant ads independently of the company’s listings. This dynamic marketplace attracts both everyday buyers and real estate professionals who rely on Cyan as a primary channel for reaching a broad audience across Russia, and increasingly, among international observers evaluating market transparency and listing quality.
