In Anapa, investigators from the regional police discovered that members of an organized crime group arranged the murder of a police officer and planned to burn him inside his own vehicle. The information came from the Main Directorate of the Krasnodar Territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Law enforcement officials learned that four local residents had devised a scheme to kill a district police officer serving with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Anapa. The officer had previously been accused of luring group members into criminal activity on multiple occasions. As part of a malicious plan, the criminals intended for the officer to set himself on fire while seated behind the wheel of his car.

The suspects looked for people willing to carry out the profit-driven order. Acting as the executor, the police were supplied with Molotov cocktails and ski masks, and they were shown the route to use. The plan involved setting the car ablaze and capturing photographs to simulate a murder scene. The individuals involved were arrested during the transfer of these photos, and criminal proceedings were initiated under Article 30 and Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
