In Chelyabinsk, a collision between a Gazelle minibus and a Mercedes-Benz sedan left the minibus body protruding from the larger vehicle and parts scattered on the roadway. Video footage of the crash circulated on Telegram through the 31tv.ru channel.
The incident unfolded on Kashirin Brothers Street the day prior. The video shows the Gazelle minibus driver attempting a left turn when a high-speed black sedan struck the truck on its starboard side. The force of the impact tore the Gazelle from its chassis, causing it to overturn and eject several components onto the street. Later footage from the public page Emergency News Agency Chelyabinsk on VKontakte clearly shows the rear axle of the Gazelle severed. The Mercedes-Benz involved sustained severe front-end damage.
Authorities also noted the presence of a tram driver in Chelyabinsk nearby at the time. Reports indicate the driver entered the shuttle cabin to confront a colleague who had blocked the tram’s path on the tracks.
