Automaker Changan has unveiled the Yida sedan for the Chinese market, with Auto Home reporting the details. The vehicle will be offered in three configurations, priced at 87.9 thousand yuan in base form, about 983,000 rubles, with a fully loaded version priced at 107.9 thousand yuan, around 1.2 million rubles.
Under the hood, every Yida variant uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 170 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. The sedan also features an independent rear suspension, and it rides on the Ark platform that underpins the Uni-T and Uni-K models. This positioning places the Yida between the Hyundai Elantra and Sonata in size, with a total length of 4770 mm.
Design cues emphasize a modern, streamlined look. Hidden door handles and headlights with a horizontal LED strip visually extend the front of the car. Inside, a digital, tablet-style instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel, while the media system is controlled via a vertically oriented display. The cabin design prioritizes a clean, tech-forward experience for the driver and passengers.
In related news, Xpeng reportedly plans to unveil the G6 crossover with extended range in Shanghai, signaling continued momentum in China’s competitive electric and hybrid segments. (Auto Home)
