Car Repair Incident Involving a Kazan Mobilized Individual
A resident of Kazan handed his car over for repair after being mobilized. He moved the vehicle from Kazan to a workshop with the plan to fix it, but he later discovered the car had been dismantled. This startling turn was reported by IA “Tatar briefing.”
According to reports, the 22-year-old man submitted his car for repairs before it was sent to a combat operation zone and agreed with the mechanic to pay in installments because the repair costs were high. In June of the previous year, he learned that someone had placed his car up for sale. A month afterward, the vehicle was found disassembled. While investigators looked into the circumstances, the Kazan resident was called up for mobilization on 28 September.
“The advertisement displayed photos of my car when it was still whole. By the time I located it, only a single shell remained, and even the personal belongings I had left inside the cabin were gone,” the serviceman stated.
The mobilized individual, who had returned home for a two-week leave, is pursuing compensation for the car through the court system. The case is being heard by the Novo-Savinovsky District Court in Kazan. The suspected auto mechanic is currently detained and faces charges of fraud. A colleague of the mechanic claimed he bought the car from the suspect but did not realize it belonged to someone else.
In related developments, reports indicate that a minibus driver was involved in a confrontation with a passenger near the traffic police building in Rostov.
