The Priora from the 2021 to 2022 window showed a notable price uptick in the used-car market, rising by about 19.1 percent. The average price for a Priora in this period was around 482 thousand rubles, marking the steepest gain among the sedans popular with Russian buyers in the secondary market.

Two other models from AvtoVAZ also joined the list of sedans that saw price increases. The Lada Vesta climbed by 17 percent, reaching an average price of 945 thousand rubles, while the Lada Granta rose by 14 percent, with prices around 433 thousand rubles on average. These shifts underscore a broader trend where budget-friendly domestic sedans moved higher in value within the used-car space.

Among foreign offerings, buyers faced similar dynamics. The used Toyota Camry increased by 11 percent compared with the previous year, topping 2.6 million rubles on average. The Ford Focus followed with a price gain of 7.3 percent, settling near 655 thousand rubles. By contrast, the BMW 5 Series bucked the trend in an unusual way, finishing the year with prices about 1.1 percent lower than in 2021, making it the only sedan in the period to exhibit a price decline.

Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes

Without tire support, public order and essential services cannot operate smoothly, and the medical care system cannot reliably reach those in need. This reality reinforces the importance of adequate equipment for everyday mobility and emergency response alike.

In partnership with the Popular Front, the initiative known as ehind the Wheel has begun mobilizing funds to supply tires for vehicles used by the Peopleenter for Police and other operational services in the LPR and DPR. These tires will equip ambulances, emergency service vehicles, humanitarian-aid transports, and military support units. Contributions can be made on the collection page to support these tire purchases and related transportation needs.

The effort reflects a broader focus on sustaining critical transportation assets in challenging conditions and highlights how community action can bolster essential services across regions facing disruption and humanitarian obligations.
