With the support of JSC “Corporation for the Development of the Vologda Region,” a new roadside cafe named Baranka opened its doors and marks the tenth anniversary of this branch. This project stands as more than just a cafe; it is a multifaceted, high-quality road network complex built to serve travelers and locals alike. It sits along the federal highway A-114, known as the Vologda – Novaya Ladoga corridor, in the Vologda region’s Cherepovets district, near Botovo settlement.
Road infrastructure plays a crucial role in expanding motor tourism, and the opening ceremony drew notable figures. Attending were Oleg Kuvshinnikov, the governor of Vologda Oblast, Alexander Sokolovsky, head of the Land and Property Relations Department at Rosavtodor, and Vladimir Krasulin, the general manager of Cafe Baranka LLC. Their presence underscored the importance of strengthening regional connectivity and enhancing traveler experiences along major routes.
The Baranka project in this branch was brought to life in record time. Construction spanned just four months, with an investment of 32 million rubles. Work began in May, and the cafe achieved full operation by late September. The venue features a complete cooking cycle, equivalent to a restaurant, and can comfortably accommodate up to 64 guests simultaneously. Its design emphasizes efficient service for long-distance drivers, families, and touring groups, combining contemporary aesthetics with practical functionality.
Leadership at Cafe Baranka LLC highlights the strategic significance of this expansion for the company’s broader goals. The development aims to foster a culture of roadside hospitality across Russia, creating new regional hubs for residents and travelers alike. The initiative focuses on product and service quality, with an emphasis on delivering reliable, appealing offerings that make car travel more enjoyable. Partners’ support is acknowledged as a driving force behind the rapid deployment and ongoing growth of the Baranka network, fueling excitement about future opportunities in the transportation corridor landscape.
