A milestone arrived at AVTOVAZ in 2022 when the 200,000th vehicle rolled off the assembly line. The model was the Lada Granta in its top configuration, equipped with air conditioning, dual airbags, an audio system, and a range of additional options.
According to AVTOVAZ’s leadership, production remained on schedule, with expectations to reach a total of 220,000 cars by the year’s end.
Speaking about the current market conditions, Maxim Sokolov, the company’s president, acknowledged strong workforce performance amid sanctions and supply chain disruptions. He noted ongoing efforts to resume production of the Vesta and Largus lines and to advance several new projects that could bolster the company’s lineup.
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
Operational readiness hinges on a steady supply chain. Without reliable tires, public services and medical care could be jeopardized for those in need.
In collaboration with the Popular Front, a fundraising initiative has begun to secure tires for essential vehicles used by the People’s Police and operational services in several regional areas. The funds will support ambulances, response units from emergency services, vehicles delivering humanitarian aid, and other critical equipment. Interested contributors can donate via the dedicated collection page.
Note: The initiative underscores the importance of reliable transport for public safety and humanitarian operations in challenging circumstances.
