AVTOVAZ Updates the Lada Granta Palette with Expanded Color Choices

AVTOVAZ has been progressively refreshing the Lada Granta lineup, with production resuming last summer on the Tolyatti assembly line. The latest information indicates broader body color options for the Granta, reflecting a trend toward richer and more diverse finishes. An industry report notes that the dark gray metallic shade known as “Damask steel,” bearing factory code 619 and originally developed for the updated Vesta NG, is set to reach the Granta in October this year.

In addition to this new hue, several other color options will be added to the Granta’s palette, which previously relied on the unupdated Vesta for its color range, according to the source:

  • “diving” (476), a bright blue metallic shade,
  • “maestro” (653), a black metallic finish,
  • “platinum” (691), a silver metallic tone,
  • “glacial” (221), a white acrylic effect.

Currently, the Granta lineup already includes one color borrowed from the Vesta family: the metallic red “carnelian,” which has been incorporated into the Granta range from the earlier Vesta lineup.

Altogether, Lada Granta now offers eight enamel options: metallic red “carnelian” (195), bright blue “blue planet” (418), silver “riesling” (610), silver gray “techno” (618), silver-charcoal Borneo Gray (633), Golden Coriander Brown (790), White Cloud Acrylics (240), and Black Panther Acrylics (672). It is anticipated that a few colors in this range may be replaced by new shades in the near term, while others will remain available at current levels.

  • The practice of borrowing colors from Lada Vesta appears to align with the ongoing production shift of the flagship model. The Vesta is transitioning production from Izhevsk to the Togliatti plant, with the first Vesta produced at the Togliatti site expected in the near term.
  • Details about developments behind the wheel can be followed on Odnoklassniki.
