The Avtodor corporation has announced a fare for the newly opened sections of the M-12. The price sits just above 220 rubles per passage, presenting a modest increase for travelers who choose this toll corridor. The decision aims to reflect the costs of construction, maintenance, and the accelerated schedule behind the project while keeping tolls manageable for everyday drivers who rely on this route for regional travel and commerce.

The newly added toll segments along the M-12 are designed to reduce congestion on the nearby M-7 Volga highway in the stretch from the 114th to the 169th kilometer. Currently, 106 kilometers of the Moscow-Kazan highway are accessible for transit, offering an alternative path for those seeking smoother and more predictable travel times. The toll road expansion represents a strategic effort to balance improved road capacity with cost recovery, ensuring steady funding for ongoing upgrades and safety enhancements along these corridors.

In the Vladimir region, the toll road features two lanes in each direction. This configuration provides a practical bypass around communities such as Petushki and Lakinsk, where traffic jams frequently form, helping drivers save time and reducing local congestion. The broader aim is to deliver a reliable, high-capacity route that supports regional logistics, daily commuting, and emergency response services alike as traffic patterns adapt to the extended roadway network. Officials anticipate that the full road system will be operational by late 2023, with the toll network spanning a total length of 811 kilometers once completed.

Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes

Without adequate tires, public safety cannot be guaranteed, and critical medical and emergency services would struggle to reach those in need. The collaboration between the public sector and community volunteers has begun mobilizing resources to address this gap. In partnership with the Popular Front, efforts are underway to raise funds that will procure tires for police and operational vehicles supporting the LPR and DPR, including ambulances, emergency response units, humanitarian aid transports, and military logistics vehicles. The fundraising drive invites donations to a centralized collection page, where supporters can contribute to this essential readiness initiative and help ensure that frontline responders remain mobile and prepared across the region.
