In Yekaterinburg, a man unfamiliar to the car owner allegedly impersonated a service worker and manipulated a call to the wife of the vehicle’s owner to siphon funds. He supposedly withdrew 50,000 rubles under the pretence of paying for repairs, a report picked up by e1.ru.

According to the car owner, Elnar, he brought his Volkswagen to a repair service that specializes in German-made cars after the vehicle slid into a deep ditch and sustained damage. After a period, a man whose name remains unknown contacted Daria, who is described as the wife of the driver, addressed her by name, and recited a list of car faults before requesting a transfer to a card believed to be for purchasing spare parts.

The scheme became clearer as it unfolded: the repairs were not paid for, and both drivers fell victim to fraud. They proceeded to contact the police, and the car service staff expressed willingness to cooperate with investigators, though they could not identify who might have deceived the car owner.

Earlier, in Vladivostok, a road dispute escalated into a physical altercation between drivers at the time of a bus conflict. This incident appears to be part of a broader pattern of misleading claims and confrontations tied to vehicle-related services.
