ATOM unveils logo for its envisioned driverless electric vehicle
The domestic startup ATOM introduced the emblem intended to unify people around a higher purpose. The logo signals a future-focused mission, signaling bold intent and a digital, human-centered approach to interaction with an autonomous electric car.
As described by one of the project’s cofounders, Igor Povarazdnyuk, the idea originated from a simple, shared dream rather than formal meetings in a corporate setting. In contrast to the 2022 business cycle, this team has assembled one of the strongest IT automotive squads, built from a mix of enthusiasts who believed in the potential of combining software acumen with hardware performance.
The neon strand of the logo stands for artificial intelligence, highlighting the product’s smart, responsive systems. The black segment forms the initial letter of the brand name, conveying dynamism and creative energy. The creators feel this visual identity captures how future vehicle logos should look, balancing futuristic tech with a strong, recognizable mark.
Early car prototypes are slated to arrive in 2023, with production planned to take place on the basis of the KamAZ PJSC platform. This collaboration hints at leveraging established manufacturing capabilities while pursuing advanced autonomous driving technologies.
