In Tambov, a group of thieves stole an ATM from a shopping center, jumped into a car, and disappeared into the night. The incident was reported by the Telegram channel “112,” which shared footage showing the moment of the robbery.

The break-in happened at the Karusel shopping center around 04:00 in the morning. The suspects, wearing black masks and dark suits, breached the mall, cut the fasteners, and hauled out a VTB ATM. They loaded the device into a black SUV and sped away before security could react.

Police described the robbery as a swift operation, lasting under two minutes. The ATM contained about 5.5 million rubles, while the machine itself was valued at roughly 500 thousand rubles. Investigators later located the ATM opened in a forested area near the village of Polkovoe. As of now, neither the criminals nor the stolen cash have been recovered.

Earlier reports noted a separate robbery in Transbaikalia, where more than 60 kilograms of gold were taken from a courier service truck. The ingots were later found abandoned by the roadside, according to authorities and local media outlets.
