Undeniably, the crossover differs from its 37-year-old predecessor in every subtle way. Saipa remains Iran’s largest car maker and continues to roll out a range of curious models built around older foundations. The Atlas is an evolved variant of the Quick crossover, itself developed from the 1986 Kia Pride platform.

In footprint the Atlas sits in the compact category, measuring just under four meters in length. Comparisons place it alongside the Ford EcoSport, the Suzuki Ignis, the Renault Kwid, and the three door version of the Lada Niva Legend in terms of size.

The design breathes new life with slimmer, contemporary headlights and a Ford-inspired grille featuring vertical slats. The hood carries fluid lines that blend into a sculpted bumper with a stylized air intake, where fog lamps are housed in a rounded, integrated recess. The rear end mirrors the modern upgrade with a redesigned bumper and a faux deflector that adds visual depth.

Saipa emphasizes a rich range of Atlas colors, offering vibrant contrasts that pair with bright accents on mirrors and bumpers. The goal is to create a lively, personalized look right from the showroom floor.

The interior centers on a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system and a refreshed audio setup. The feature list also includes automatic LED headlights, power-adjustable seats, heated exterior mirrors, a sunroof, a blind spot monitoring system, and additional convenience and safety tech. Sound insulation has been enhanced to reduce engine noise seeping into the cabin, improving overall comfort for occupants.

Under the hood lies a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol engine delivering about 88 horsepower and 128 Newton meters of torque. Buyers can choose between a manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic, with the model offered exclusively with front wheel drive.
